Setting up an account at an online casino is quick, but knowing exactly what to expect at each step saves time and frustration. This guide walks you through the entire process, from gathering documents to claiming your first bonus.
Getting Ready
- A valid email address and a strong password (at least 12 characters with a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols).
- A government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license) for identity verification.
- A proof of address (utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months).
- Payment method: credit/debit card, e-wallet (Skrill, Neteller), or cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Ethereum).
- Optional but recommended: enable two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account for extra security.
- If you plan to use a bonus, note that only one active bonus is allowed at a time.
Step-by-Step Sign-Up
- Go to the Bitstarz website and click the “Sign Up” button.
- Enter your email, create a username, and set a password. Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Check your email for a verification link and click it to activate your account.
- Log in and navigate to the “Cashier” or “Deposit” section. Choose your preferred payment method.
- Enter the deposit amount and, if you have a bonus code, type it in the designated field before confirming. Note: the Bitstarz bonus code can be found on partner sites or promotional emails, and it typically unlocks a match bonus and free spins. For example, a common offer is a 100% match up to €100 plus 180 free spins on the first deposit.
- Complete the transaction. Funds usually appear instantly for e-wallets and crypto, while cards may take a few minutes.
- Once the deposit is confirmed, the bonus is automatically credited if you used a valid code. Check your balance to see the bonus funds and free spins count.
How Wagering Works
Every bonus comes with wagering requirements. For instance, assume a 100% match bonus up to €100 with 40x wagering on deposit + bonus. If you deposit €50, you receive a €50 bonus. Your total playable amount is €100. The wagering requirement is (€50 deposit + €50 bonus) × 40 = €4,000. You must place bets totaling €4,000 before any winnings from the bonus can be withdrawn.
Free spins winnings are also subject to wagering. Typically, free spins winnings are added as bonus money with the same wagering requirement. For example, if you win €20 from free spins and the wagering is 40x, you need to wager €20 × 40 = €800 before cashing out.
Different games contribute differently to wagering: slots usually count 100%, table games like blackjack may count only 10–20%, and some games are excluded. Always check the game contribution percentages in the bonus terms.
Security
Bitstarz uses SSL encryption to protect all data transmissions. The casino holds a license from the Government of Curacao. For EU players, note that winnings from Curacao-licensed casinos may be subject to local income tax, unlike those from MGA or local licenses. It is advisable to consult a tax advisor. Additionally, Bitstarz offers two-factor authentication; enabling it adds a second layer of security by requiring a code from your phone each time you log in.
Banking & Payments
The casino supports a wide range of payment methods. Deposits are usually instant, while withdrawal times vary. For the most current offers, including the latest bonus codes, visit Bitstarz bonus code. Below is a comparison of typical processing times.

Troubleshooting
- Forgotten password: Click “Forgot Password” on the login page, enter your email, and follow the reset link. If you don’t receive the email, check spam and whitelist Bitstarz’s domain.
- Bonus not credited: Ensure you entered the code correctly before depositing. Some codes require a minimum deposit (e.g., €20). Contact support via live chat if the bonus is missing.
- Withdrawal pending for days: Verify that you have completed the wagering requirements and submitted all KYC documents. Withdrawals to e-wallets are fastest.
- Game not loading: Clear your browser cache, disable ad blockers, or try a different browser. Bitstarz also offers a mobile-optimized website (PWA) that can be launched from the browser’s home screen.
- Account blocked after verification: This may happen if your documents don’t match. Contact support immediately to clarify. Ensure the name on your account matches your ID exactly.
- Free spins not appearing: Free spins are usually added automatically, but sometimes they require manual activation from the promotions page. Check the “My Bonuses” section.
