Before depositing at any online casino, take five minutes to read this checklist — it covers the steps most players skip.
Quick Checklist
- Verify the casino holds a valid license (e.g., Curacao eGaming).
- Read the full terms for any welcome bonus, especially wagering requirements.
- Check which payment methods are available in your region and their processing times.
- Test the mobile experience using a browser or progressive web app (PWA).
- Set deposit limits and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) if offered.
- Note that winnings from Curacao-licensed casinos may be subject to local income tax.
Registration
- Visit the casino homepage and click the “Sign Up” or “Join Now” button.
- Complete the registration form with your email, username, and password.
- Provide your full name, date of birth, and residential address exactly as on your ID.
- Choose your preferred currency and set deposit limits (optional but recommended).
- Check your email inbox for a verification link (spam folder too) and confirm your account.
- Log in and proceed to the cashier to make your first deposit.
- During the deposit process, enter any bonus code if required — many offers auto-apply. For step-by-step assistance, Zodiac Casino has a detailed guide.
Wagering Calculation
Understanding wagering requirements is crucial to evaluate a bonus. For example, a 100% match bonus up to $100 with a 35x wagering requirement on the bonus amount means:
- Deposit: $100 → Bonus: $100 → Total balance: $200
- Playthrough needed: 35 × $100 = $3,500
- If slots contribute 100% and table games only 10%, playing blackjack with $10 bets would require actual wagering of $3,500 / 0.10 = $35,000.
Here’s a concrete example: You claim a $20 no-deposit bonus with 40x wagering on the bonus. You must wager 40 × $20 = $800 before withdrawing any winnings. The expected loss on a slot with 96% RTP is $800 × (1 – 0.96) = $32, leaving you with an expected gain of $20 – $32 = -$12. Always run the numbers before claiming.

Insider Advice
For the best RTP, focus on video poker (e.g., Jacks or Better) and certain table games like European roulette (single zero) which has a house edge of 2.7%. Among slots, look for those with RTP above 97% — always check the game info screen. Avoid keno and scratch cards, as they often have the lowest RTP (typically below 95%). Also, note that progressive jackpot slots contribute less to wagering requirements, so they are not optimal for clearing bonuses.
Remember: no system can guarantee wins; gambling should be for entertainment, not as a way to make money.
